Each week a complete listing of all entrants and their running total scores will be available online at www.chroniclet.com.

Trades:  Trades may only be made each week by logging in at https://ezracing.advpubtech.com/index.php?contestid=202 . It is a $5* per trade, with no limits on the number of drivers per session.. Trades will only be allowed within the list for which the driver is traded. For example, if a driver is traded in List A, then a new driver must be picked up within list A. For trades to be valid for a certain points race, trades must be made prior to the start of the race. If a trade is made during or after a race, the change will be made for the next race. No walk in or mail in trades will be allowed. Following each points race, each of your selected drivers will be awarded Cup points. Total up your drivers with their combined points from that day’s race and you have your points total for the week. If you trade drivers, no matter how many trades are made, points will be awarded each week for the drivers selected for that week and then added into your team league total. Your points will accumulate with each points race in which your selections compete. If a driver you choose does not participate in a race, you receive no points. Once you have entered your drivers from each group  and have submitted that information, no changes will be made regardless of reason.

Entries must be submitted by an adult 18 years or older at the time of submission.  By submitting this information, The Chronicle-Telegram reserves the right to use the participant’s name in any print products of The Chronicle-Telegram as well as on its website.

The Chronicle-Telegram will not be responsible for any incomplete, lost, late, or illegible entries.  In the event of a dispute, all online entries will be deemed to have been submitted by the owner of the ISP account from which they were sent. The Chronicle-Telegram reserves the right to disqualify any entries by persons determined to be tampering with or abusing any aspect of the contest.

Points Tallying:

As of the 2011 season NASCAR changed The Chase format once again. Points are tallied after 26 races and the top ten in points are locked into the final ten race Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup. Those ten drivers will then be manually seeded with three bonus points for every race that they won during the first 26 races of the season.
In addition to the top ten the two drivers with the most wins who were not in the top ten, but are in the top twenty in points will make the Chase and will be seeded 11th and 12th. They will not get the bonus points for wins going into the Chase.

For the last ten races, NASCAR points are still assigned the same way as the rest of the season to determine the champion.

The Nationwide Series and Camping World Truck Series do not use The Chase format. They simply race every race, total up the points at the end and award the Championship to the driver that has the most points

NOTE: The Chronicle is not responsible for drivers who are injured, do not qualify for a race or do not run a race for any reason.  It is the responsibility of the contestant to choose wisely and adjust his/her lineups by trade if need be.

Prizes: The first place finisher will receive 2 tickets to the 2014 Michigan 400. Ties will be broken by the tie-breaker listed on the entry form. Prize will not be mailed.
